EMI Music Publishing, the world's leading publisher of popular music, has extended publishing agreements with some of the most successful songwriters working in the music industry today.

Amy Winehouse, Scissor Sisters, Bryan Ferry and Take That members Howard and Donald and Jason Orange have all agreed new publishing deals which will see their songwriting work continue to be represented and marketed by EMI Music Publishing

Amy Winehouse first signed with EMI Music Publishing ahead of the release of her debut album 'Frank'. Having been introduced to each other by Guy Moot, Winehouse and fellow EMI Music Publishing songwriter Mark Ronson worked together on her international breakthrough album 'Back To Black'. The release earned Winehouse a BRIT Award, five Grammys and three Ivor Novello songwriting awards. She is currently working on her third studio album.

The Scissor Sisters' eponymously-titled debut album became the biggest selling album of 2004 in the UK, thanks to the success of self-penned singles including "Laura" , "Take Your Mama" , "Mary" and "Filthy/Gorgeous" . The album helped the American band score Best Album, Best Group and Best Breakthrough in the international categories at the They scored a UK number one hit with "I Don't Feel Like Dancin'" (co-written with Elton John) in 2006, with the resulting album "Ta-Dah!" topping the charts in the UK and Ireland. Their third album "Night Work" is released at the end of June. EMI Music Publishing represents Scissor Sisters across the world, excluding North America.

Bryan Ferry established himself as one of the great British songwriters with his emergence at the beginning of the 1970s as the lead singer of Roxy Music. His classic style and sound has also translated into a successful solo career, with the release of hit albums including "Boys & Girls" and "Bete Noire" . EMI Music Publishing represents his back catalogue from the Roxy Music album 'Avalon' to his forthcoming solo album due for release in September. The album features collaborations with Groove Armada and the Scissor Sisters, as well as seven new songs by Ferry. Roxy Music are reforming for 12 European festival appearances this year, while Ferry is also working on a covers album to be recorded by artists influenced by his Roxy Music and solo material.

Jason Orange and Howard Donald are one half of the multi-award winning British band Take That. Take That split in 1996 after dominating the UK and European charts for four years, only to reunite in 2006. The band have subsequently released two chart-topping albums - "Beautiful World" and "The Circus" - and performed two sellout European tours. The single "Shine" - co-written by Donald and Orange, along with fellow band members Gary Barlow and Mark Owen - received the PRS Most Performed Work prize at the 2008 Ivor Novello Awards.
