David and Matt presented the award for best song to Robbie Williams at the Brit Awards in 2003, dressed his Rock Profile-style chums Howard Donald and Gary Barlow.
The awards were broadcast on 10th February 2005 on ITV1
A shocked Robbie Williams initially thought it might be the real Take That!
In fact, a false story had been given to the tabloids to put everyone off the scent.
"Howard" had some trouble saying "nomination" and "Gary" tried to help him out.
Gary didn't mind who won so long as it wasn't Robbie Williams.
Gary told Robbie that he had made him "very very ill". Fan fact - this was a reference to the first "Take That" rock profile, which itself was a reference to Blue Tulip Rose Read (Mike Read's stalker).
Eventually, Howard managed to drag Gary away while Robbie made his speech.
Later, David could be seen with his friend Denise Van Outen, in the audience dancing to "Angels".
