TAKE THAT singer GARY BARLOW is disillusioned with the state of the U.K. music industry, and fears 2008's Brit Awards ceremony will be awash with American stars. The Back For Good hitmakers triumphed at the 2007 Brits, beating Razorlight and Snow Patrol to the Best Single award, for their track Patience. But Barlow, 36, believes the category will be lacking in decent tracks at next year's (08) ceremony, because the charts have been dominated by U.S. artists like Rihanna and Beyonce Knowles. He says, "I'm not sure what the Brits is going to be like (next year) because there haven't been any massive British records. "If you think about it, last year in the Best British Single category, there were loads of really strong pop records, but this year there haven't really been any. The biggest song has probably been Rihanna's Umbrella, but she's not British."
