Tickets for their tour sold out in a matter of hours when they went on sale late last year. But on Wednesday night a select group of fans were treated to an exclusive performance from the man band as they took to the stage for a 35-minute set at Simon Cowell's private pre-New Year party in Barbados.
Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Howard Donald and Jason Orange performed hits including Back For Good and Pray, although one member was noticeably absent in the form of Robbie Williams, who was seeing in 2011 with wife Ayda in Los Angeles.
Take That opened their performance at the event hosted by Global Radio's Ashley Tabor with Greatest Day, before playing Patience, Pray, Rule The World, Back For Good, Shine and The Flood. And, following a rousing set, the boys were joined on stage by 70 revellers who were determined to share the spotlight with the group. Among the guests were Simon Cowell, who attended with fiancée Mezhgan Hussainy.
Also there was WAG Lizzie Cundy, who tweeted the next day: 'Can't get over how amazing Take That were last night!! Everyone hungover today me thinks....well me knows!!!'
While the boys appeared to have enjoyed the evening, they were actually in Barbados to perform at a party held by Universal's Lucian Grainge on New Year's Eve. And despite not being paid for their time, the four men are believed to have been treated to an all-expenses paid trip to the Caribbean island with their other halves.
A spokesperson for the band said recently: 'It's basically a chance to get away in the sun and perform a few songs at a party for friends. They are not being paid a penny.'
The boys have certainly been making the most of the warm weather, cuddling up to their wives and splashing around in the sea during their free time.
On Thursday, Mark and wife Emma were seen enjoying a hug and kiss on board a boat as they took in some of the local sights of Barbados.
The pair were joined by Gary and his wife Dawn and Howard on the day out.
