Happy Birthday Mark!

Mark turns 39 today as gorgeous as always! Have a great day!

Take That actuará en el festival de San Remo el 18 de febrero

Take That's Robbie Williams To Get His Own Musical

A musical set around the life of Take That's Robbie Williams could be in the pipe line, it has been reported.

The singer has allowed the show to use his solo material after the owner of London's Old Vic theatre began auditioning for two 'Robbies', The Sun reports.

''Robbie is bang up for the musical and thinks it will be a fun production. He loves West End shows and is honoured they will be doing one about his life," a source told the newspaper.

Meanwhile, Robbie Williams has confirmed that Take That's tour is still on despite recent speculation.

The jaunt, which will see the group perform at stadiums across the UK, kicks off this spring.

Robbie Williams, ¿quiere hacer la gira de Take That?

Gary admits "Robbie could walk away again"

Gary Barlow has admitted that he cannot see Robbie Williams staying with Take That long term.

The band reunited with Robbie to record Progress, the biggest-selling album in Britain last year.

But yesterday lead singer Gary confessed: 'I know we're back with Rob right now, but we still see our future as a four-piece band. We see Take That as a four-piece band in general.'

The news will have fans hoping the five original band members stay together long enough for this year's sell-out tour.

Gary, who celebrates his 40th birthday with a giant party in London tonight, told Radio 2's Chris Evans: 'It was a magical thing for us last year to get Rob back in the band. And the fact that it's happened, the fact that we've done an album and we're going to go on tour this year, I think it's the real dream for us.'

Take That star Howard Donald is taking time out from tour rehearsals to return to his second love of DJing.

Back-flipping Howie, 42, hits £5million hyper-club Gatecrasher in Birmingham for an exclusive DJ set on January 29.

Howard said: “I love DJing. I only want to play the best venues just like every other DJ and as my time is limited, it’s important that every booking I do counts. I had a great time at Gatecrasher last time, there was a good crowd.”

Take That Comeback To Be Analysed At Academic Debate

Take That's reunion with Robbie Williams is to be the subject of an academic debate.

The two-day event at the University of Salford will look at the band's comeback, as well as analysing their split in 1996.

The debate will also draw parallels between Take That and the break-up and reformation other notable acts, including The Beatles, reports The Sun.

An invite said the band's reunion provided an “excellent opportunity” for students and staff to “discuss key issues arising from this contemporary popular music phenomenon”.

The conference in June will coincide with Take That's mammoth Progress tour.

Take That Named 2010's U.K. Most Popular Live Act

Reformed pop stars Take That have officially claimed 2010 as their year - they've been named the most popular live act in the U.K. ahead of Kings of Leon and Lady GaGa. The group's latest record, "Progress", has proved to be a big hit following their reunion with Robbie Williams, who quit the band in 1995, and the disc has dominated Britain's album chart since its release in November 2010.

And the singers have triumphed as the top draw in a new survey by U.K. ticket exchange website Viagogo, leaving the "Sex on Fire" hitmakers trailing in second place. Another British boyband, JLS, came in third, while Lady GaGa and Michael Buble rounded out the top five.

Bon Jovi, Muse and the Black Eyed Peas all feature in the top 10.

Robbie no quiere bailar

Robbie Williams puts a spanner in Take That reunion tour by shunning “silly” dance routines that made them famous

WHEN Take That hit the comeback trail those high energy dance routines of old may lack a certain something – because Robbie Williams will be sitting them out...

Rob, 36, reckons the fancy moves that were such a hit with fans now look “silly”.

So Take That’s promised “feast for the imagination” when they return as a fivepiece for their first tour in 16 years, threatens to end up more of a picnic

Robbie said: “We could do the dance routines we did first time around, but with this tour it’s bound to look silly, isn’t it?”

I knew it wouldn’t take long for the ego to land. Still, at least that rules out Robbie’s ridiculous running man dance for Rudebox.

As the youngster of the group, his decision is bound to hit a bum note with Howard Donald, 42, and Jason Orange, 40, who plan on doing their trademark head-spins and break-dancing.

These days even 39-year-old Gary Barlow – who was excused from dancing duties the first time round because he was singing and playing the piano – wiggles his hips. On their amazing Circus tour two years ago, Gary took part in complex dance routines with the rest. So maybe he could make like Anton Du Beke and fling Robbie around the dancefloor like Ann Widdecombe...

A source tells me: “Rob’s put a dampener on things with this attitude. Fans want the tour to be like the good old days. Fair enough they might not be able to do all the back-breaking routines, but a wave and a cheesy grin alone just won’t cut it.”

Perhaps Howard can persuade Robbie to change his mind. He has said: “Now we’re all back together I know Robbie five times more than I knew him then.”

Their mutual love-in continued yesterday when Robbie said of 8 Letters: “I really wanted to impress the lads. I was in a lot of pain because... I love you. I hope it did impress you.”

I’d be more impressed if he’d Take That AND party when he’s out on tour.

Come on, come on, Take That... and party! Gary Barlow and co. perform energetic set at private event in Barbados

Tickets for their tour sold out in a matter of hours when they went on sale late last year. But on Wednesday night a select group of fans were treated to an exclusive performance from the man band as they took to the stage for a 35-minute set at Simon Cowell's private pre-New Year party in Barbados.

Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Howard Donald and Jason Orange performed hits including Back For Good and Pray, although one member was noticeably absent in the form of Robbie Williams, who was seeing in 2011 with wife Ayda in Los Angeles.

Take That opened their performance at the event hosted by Global Radio's Ashley Tabor with Greatest Day, before playing Patience, Pray, Rule The World, Back For Good, Shine and The Flood. And, following a rousing set, the boys were joined on stage by 70 revellers who were determined to share the spotlight with the group. Among the guests were Simon Cowell, who attended with fiancée Mezhgan Hussainy.

Also there was WAG Lizzie Cundy, who tweeted the next day: 'Can't get over how amazing Take That were last night!! Everyone hungover today me thinks....well me knows!!!'

While the boys appeared to have enjoyed the evening, they were actually in Barbados to perform at a party held by Universal's Lucian Grainge on New Year's Eve. And despite not being paid for their time, the four men are believed to have been treated to an all-expenses paid trip to the Caribbean island with their other halves.

A spokesperson for the band said recently: 'It's basically a chance to get away in the sun and perform a few songs at a party for friends. They are not being paid a penny.'

The boys have certainly been making the most of the warm weather, cuddling up to their wives and splashing around in the sea during their free time.

On Thursday, Mark and wife Emma were seen enjoying a hug and kiss on board a boat as they took in some of the local sights of Barbados.

The pair were joined by Gary and his wife Dawn and Howard on the day out.
