Spandau Ballet lead singer Tony Hadley has claimed to have spoken with Take That about the possibility of working on a collaboration.
MSN reports Hadley as saying he bonded with Take That singer Gary Barlow over their mutual annoyance at constant criticism over their weight.
"I'm hoping to start working with Gary after the Spandau shows and we've started talking about it," Hadley is reported as saying.
"I love Gary, he's great."
Hadley also said the reformation of his own band had gone better than expected.
"We had a few pints together and actually got on extremely well. It took a while but it's amazing what beer can do. It's been nice to bury the hatchet, but not in each other's heads," he said.
The band are due to tour the UK from October.
