(Feel): About Take That - IV

Feel, la biografía autorizada de Robbie por Chris Health.No sólo me está pareciendo una buena manera de conocer muchas cosas de Robbie, sino también de entender su visión sobre Take That. Además, me encanta que en el libro, Take That son nombrados por mil motivos, y en muchas ocasiones me rio mucho con lo que cuenta sobre ellos o en relación a ellos.Asi que iré poniendo pequeños extractos de esas partes donde habla de TT o de alguno de ellos, a medida que vaya encontrándolos en mi lectura.Espero que os guste.(Lo que haga falta porque os acabéis comprando el libro... Como ya os dije, el libro me está encantando, habla mucho de la relación de Robbie con TT y, nadie es tan bueno ni nadie es tan malo en toda la historia, y te da una perspectiva muy buena de por qué Robbie es como es y hace lo que hace. Y sobre todo te das cuenta que casi todo lo que se publica sobre Robbie podría publicarse en nuestro blog como "rumore".
El libro, me ha sorprendido gratamente tanto por la visión que da de Robbie como por el propio trato con él. Y es que el libro es, como Robbie, divertido:


"He [Robbie] asked me about the book. At one point I mention that, over a year, there are some subjects (Gary Barlow, Noel Gallagher) and actions (principally farting) that, were each such incident retained in the condensed form of the book, would make him seem obsessed [with both, Gary and Noel] and very...windy. He takes this to heart. Over then next few month, whenever I haven't spoken to him for a while, and ask how things have been, he will usually say something like, ' You know - fart, Gary Barlow, Noel Galagher"

"Once in Madrid, while in the dressing room another gift arrives. A signed shirt for Rob. From David Beckham, saying:Best wishes 'amigo' besos David X
Robbie agonises for ages about what he should write back on the Robbie Williams shirt he is sending in return and casts around for ideas. (...)
- dont worry too much, all he's done is 'best wishes' - Lee points out
- yeah- says Rob- but he's put spanish! How about 'Hola, patatas fritas, all the best Robbie ?' "

"Josie (Rob's assistand) is answering the phone that has been ringing all the morning. When the CALLER says his name, she is reserved and cautious. She thinks that maybe it's a fake name to get into Robbie. She apologises and explains that they have had a lot of impostors calling this year to contact Robbie. The caller says that he quite undertands, but would like to get in touch with Rob.

'I dont want another Christmas to go by without speaking to him ' he says.

She takes his phone number. Her next move is to call Mark Owen and leave a message explainning the situation. He calls right back. Yes. The number she was checking is the one that belongs to the man he claimed to be.

She REALLY was just called by Gary Barlow. "
