"Take That are complicated"
Gary Barlow is delighted Take That have reunited, but admits being in the band isn't easy. Gary Barlow says Take That are "complicated".
The singer is thrilled the band - also comprising Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald - decided to reform in 2005 without Robbie Williams and admits they have been through a great deal since they first met in 1989.
Gary said: "Our story is too complicated to sum up in a few lines. If we had tried to plan it like this it would never have happened."
Jason is convinced the band are more popular than ever because they have clung onto their modest upbringings and refused to get too carried away with fame.
He explained: "You can't spend too long qualifying it. We are good mates and that shows.
"People love the story, where we came from, how it all started. We have tried to mature and progress.
"And I think they like the fact that none of us have gone too far up our own a***s."
Mark stills feels excited about being a pop star because the band have managed to reinvent themselves with each new album.
He said: "There is a funny thing going on. Although we are quite an old band, it feels new - like we are just starting in some ways."

The "boyband" phenomenon in the global music industry has been a reality for ages. Most boyband members have had their fifteen minutes of fame and faded into oblivion almost immediately after they ceased to be "boys". Efforts at reunions after they reached adulthood often offered nothing more than nostalgia for fans from their heyday. Only one band has been able to protect itself from being a victim of the boyband phenomenon by creating a musical legacy that has truly endured - Take That. The quartet (formerly a quintet with bad boy Robbie Williams) from Manchester has 10 UK #1 singles to their credit. Their comeback album "Beautiful World" (after a 10-year hiatus from the music industry) topped the UK album charts and spawned 2 UK No. 1 singles ("Patience" and "Shine").
Unfortunately, despite the mass hysteria they created with their triumphant return to the limelight, their album "Beautiful World" did not get its much deserved release in the US. Their new single "Greatest Day" has hit European airwaves today (October 13, 2008) and their new album is scheduled for release in late November. Contrary to popular belief, Take That has a large and rapidly growing fanbase in the US and this time, the fans want Polydor Records/Universal Music to do right by the fans by arranging for a US release of the new Take That single "Greatest Day" and the new album. US customers are not allowed to make purchases off British online music stores. Denying American listeners of a legal avenue for the purchase of material by their favorite British artists is the type of action that encourages online music piracy that has plagued the recording industry for years.
We believe that artists should be financially remunerated for their music. Allow us to do this for Take That and give the rest of the American music listeners a glimpse of what they have missed all these years.

Noisy Williams
Robbie Williams upset his neighbours by building a go-kart track.
The former Take That singer - who moved into a luxurious £7 million mansion in Wiltshire, UK, with his actress girlfriend Ayda Field earlier this year - has annoyed local residents by having a driving ring installed in his back garden to race speedy vehicles on.
A source said: "The go-karts have been heard. It's not a problem at all because it's round the back. But there were a few people joking that he'd better not ruin his neighbours' lives with a stock-car track in his back field. Thankfully it's nowhere near as bad as that yet."
Apart from his noisy go-karting hobby the 35-year-old star has settled into village life well.
The source explained: "We are delighted to have Robbie living here. He's been lovely and his girlfriend is so nice. When he first moved in there were a few people who were worried, thinking it would be all rock star parties late at night. But like all of us, he loves living here because it's quiet and friendly."

Take That give 'brilliant' Robbie thumbs up
The Take That boys have given their stamp of approval to the solo comeback bid of long lost brother Robbie Williams.
Singer Mark Owen says he was one of the first to have a listen to Rob's new hit Bodies and has branded it 'brilliant'.
Meanwhile the dad of two was revelling in a rare night out on the lash after his band scooped the best Band gong at the GQ shindig.
Meanwhile we found poor old Jason Orange lost in showbiz after joining him for a drink out on the balcony of the Royal Opera house.
Like a lost puppy, he asked me: 'Have you seen where all my colleagues are? I've been totally abandoned!'
Of course we sent him off for the wrong way just for a laugh after having our cheeky snap with Mr Barlow himself!

Take That portada de GQ
Take That - Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald - are the biggest band in Britain. Since their 2006 comeback after a decade in the wilderness, they have sold close to five million albums. The Circus, released last December, topped the charts for five weeks. The Circus live show was the fastest-selling tour in UK history. The Wembley concerts alone are a staggering achievement. No other group - not U2, not Coldplay, not Oasis - attempted to sell more than three nights there this year. If nostalgia accounted for the immediate success of their return, then it's something else that is sustaining this second act in the life of the nation's favourite former boy band.
"Our story is too complicated to sum up in a few lines," says Gary. "If we'd tried to plan it like this it would never have happened."

Yoko Ono is a huge tt fan
John Lennon's widow Yoko Ono, 76, has revealed she is a huge Take That fan and says her favourite song is their 2007 hit 'Shine'.

The widow of Beatles singer John Lennon has praised the British foursome - consisting of Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Howard Donald and Jason Orange - and revealed she is in awe of their pop sound.
She said: "I love 'Shine'. I know most of their greatest hits. They're a great British band."
The band were thrilled as the 76-year-old artist handed them the Band of the Year prize at the GQ Men of the Year Awards in London's Royal Opera House last night (09.09.09).
Mark said: "It's amazing that Yoko thinks that about our music. It is an honour to accept an award from her."
This week, the men began working on a secret project at London's Abbey Road Studios - where The Beatles recorded most of their music - following a three-month break.
Gary says working in the famous studio has given them inspiration for their next LP. He explained: nJason added: "We've had a great holiday and now we're back to work.
"I did some DJing in Ibiza so I haven't had as long a holiday as the other guys but it's good to be back. I've played a bit of golf."
Meanwhile, Gary has revealed he has listened to an early version of their former bandmate Robbie Williams' new album 'Reality Killed the Video Star'.
He said: "I've heard Robbie's album. I think it's great.
"I can hear Trevor Horn's influence on it. I would buy anything that guy does. Rob's music still has an electronic feel but it sounds fresh."

Robbie asks for Gary's opinion
Robbie Williams has asked Gary Barlow for advice on his new album.
The 'Angels' singer - who famously fell out with his Take That bandmate when he quit the group in 1995 - invited Gary to his Los Angeles mansion to listen to his eagerly-anticipated LP, 'Reality Killed the Video Star'.
A source said: "With so much riding on Robbie's comeback, he knew Gary would tell him the truth."
The album, which is set for release in November, will be Robbie's first album since 2006's 'Rudebox' - which was universally panned.
Although it is yet to hit stores, Robbie is already planning his next album and has revealed he takes on a different personality for each LP.
He said: "For this album, I've been Luke Moody. I don't like the name Robbie. Bert Williams for the next album."
The 35-year-old star recently said he would consider rejoining Take That once his LP comes out.
He said: "Perception was such that it was, 'Oh look, he's had to get up with Take That now that 'Rudebox' has failed. I thought I'd wait a little and get my album out. Then I can go and play with my mates."

Gary Barlow writes tracks with NDubz
GARY BARLOW is getting in on the Brrrap Pack action by working with NDUBZ.
The TAKE THAT main man is heading into the studio this week with DAPPY, TULISA and FAZER to write and record.
Ndubz, nominated for four MOBO Awards, had invited Gary to pen some tunes and were astonished when he came back immediately to say yes.
An Ndubz associate said: "They are lifelong Take That fans and can't believe their luck that Gary's agreed to do this.
"Hopefully Gary will end up singing on some tracks."
Take That members are planning a year away from the man band but it doesn't sound like Gary's planning any rest.
Meanwhile, don't forget that tickets for my Brrrap Pack tour - featuring CHIPMUNK, IRONIK and others in October half-term week - are on sale.

Escucha “Bodies” lo nuevo de Robbie Williams
Robbie Wiliams sacará un nuevo disco en noviembre, el primero que publica desde 2006, cuando salió a la venta “Rudebox”. El nuevo trabajo, que saldrá a la luz el próximo 9 de Noviembre se titula “Reality Killed The Video Star”, cuyo primer single será “Bodies”. Robbie ha declarado que en su nuevo trabajo podrán escuchar “al viejo Robbie, al nuevo Robbie y al Robbie que nadie ha visto”.
Sobre su nuevo trabajo, su octavo disco de estudio, el músico comentó a sus admiradores: “Realmente espero que sea tan bueno como yo creo. Ya veremos. Estoy seguro de que me lo harán saber”.
‘Bodies‘ se pondrá a la venta digitalmente el próximo 12 de octubre, a continuación un fragmento para ir calentando motores:
