A destacar:

XD
- Los postres "vienen" en zapatos

¿Me olvido de algo? en comentarios... :)

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Take That's Howard Donald as he gears up to play Leeds on Friday

HE'S best known as one quarter of boy-to-manband Take That but anyone who knows anything about clubbing will know Howard Donald's just as talented behind the decks as he is behind a microphone.
After the group made a comeback last year he took a well earned break and returned to his first love - and luckily for Leeds he chose us as one of only a handful of dates to make his DJing reprise.
Nightscene caught up with him as he prepares to play Kissdafunk at Mission.

When you aren't DJing full time do you miss it, if so what do you miss exactly?
Of course I miss it! DJing is something I am very passionate about and love doing. But I do find I have to get it into perspective with the rest of my life especially now because otherwise I miss important quality time with my family, which comes before anything. That just means I have to be more picky about the dates that I do.

How much has your stuff developed and evolved from the start? Is it almost totally different or is it just constant variations on your own personal theme?
House music is house music, it always evolves and changes according to the latest trends so I guess you could say my sound it totally different especially if you heard what I was playing 10 years ago compared to what I'm playing now, but its still house music.

You've been doing this long enough now to get a broad outlook on dance music? Does it move in circles and do you think different styles from rave-house-garage-trance-electro are that radically different or are there core characteristics they all share?
I think dance music all derives from house back in the day - but that's only in the same way everything changes and goes in different directions. Every DJ and producer out there takes influences from someone or something and its not always dance music related. Good music is good music when push comes to shove.

How do you think dance scenes in cities in the north of England - obvious examples: Leeds and Manchester - differ from London and other places down south?
It very much depends on the type of venue you're in and the type of night it is. For example, I love playing in Ireland and Scotland because the people over there are so fresh-faced and most definitely not cynical about the scene or music. Leeds is great because the people know their music and know how to have a good time, in fact I would say that Leeds and Manchester are two of the best cities in the north to party right now as there is so much choice.

You DJ all around the world at various times, how do you think the UK dance scene compares with elsewhere?
It's very hit and miss at the best of times, and again it depends on where you are and what the party is. International clubs have always been much more accepting of my status and never labelled me as a 'celebrity DJ'. They have always been about the music and if you can play they will support you rather than chastise you for being someone in my privileged position.

How did you get to know/get involved with the KDF crew?
I think last summer was the first time I played for them in Ibiza and I loved the vibe from Tissera and Tolley along with what their parties are about - it really suits my style and what I want from my djing.

You're playing Ibiza this year - can you pinpoint what it is about the place that's so special?
All I can say is if you need to ask the question you've obviously never been - just see for yourself

Do you think you'll ever NOT DJ?
I might give up when I reach retirement age…..what is it now, 65?

Duffy talks Gavin and Stacey and Take That to Heart

On Take That…
“I appreciate their comeback, I appreciate the quality of their songs and Gary Barlow is a very smart man. I met them, I met Jason Orange, and I met Mark (Owen). I actually met Mark in Peter Jones in Sloane Square. He had a baby and he was lovely and he was like, “Oh, it’s you.” and I was like, “And it’s you.” My sister touched him and said, “I just touched Mark from Take That.” And I was like, “Grow up Katie! You‘re not eight anymore.” I bitched slapped her in the lift.”

Vas al McDonalds, pides un Happy Meal "de chica", ves un libretito dentro, lo abres y...

Boyzone VS Take That

La gira de Boyzone ha empezado y The Sun ha publicado un artículo comparándoles con Take That:

Ronan: Boyzone 'outsex' Take That

IT’S hardly THE BEATLES v THE ROLLING STONES or BLUR v OASIS . . . but we now have round two of that much forgotten musical battle – BOYZONE v TAKE THAT.

Lo que nos interesa:

· But the pièce de résistance was the addition of 12 stunning backing dancers – a move Ronan admits is straight out of the Take That playbook. Backstage he confessed: “They raised the bar and we had to follow. We needed to outsex them.”

· Ronan even received a good luck text from GARY BARLOW before going on stage.

· I took some of the girls from the office with me to Belfast and the consensus was that although they’ll never be as cool or handsome as Take That, Boyzone have nicely gelled into Manzone – and a screaming crowd of 11,000 certainly agreed.

· Louis [el manager] raved: “I’m very proud of the guys. We’ll kick Take That out of the water. Boyzone are back and they are better than ever!”

ITV: "We want that one"

Just days after Gary Barlow & Co announced plans for another pop comeback, TV Biz can reveal the band are in talks with ITV to do a live spectacle.
An insider said: “Take That’s appearance on last year’s New Year’s Eve special did brilliant business, so we’re looking at what we can do with them in December.
“It won’t be an Audience With-type show — it will more likely be a big concert, maybe in Manchester.”
New ITV boss Peter Fincham is also hoping to lure Kylie Minogue for a Christmas special.

Gary about the musical

Take That singer Gary Barlow has given a cautious blessing to a musical based on the band's music, which has had its official opening night in the West End.

"At first I thought it sounded horrible," Barlow told the BBC.
"But the reports I've seen have been really good so there must be something good in it. I'm just worried that they're better than us."

The reformed pop group have not been involved with the show, Never Forget, which is staged at The Savoy Theatre.'Amazing cast' Record label EMI licensed the songs to the producers of the musical in 2005.It tells the fictional story of a Take That tribute band and includes songs like Relight My Fire, Pray, Back For Good and Babe.

When it was announced in 2007, the band said they did not endorse it and insisted it was "absolutely and 100% nothing to do with Take That".The show, Never Forget, is on at the Savoy Theatre

But at the Ivor Novello awards on Thursday, Barlow said: "I've had some friends who went to see it in Manchester and they said the cast were amazing."I don't really know a lot about it, but the people I know that have been really had a good time."
After Thursday's show, Daily Telegraph theatre critic Charles Spencer said it was "not nearly as terrible as I secretly hoped it would be".
It was "rapturously received" and "clearly destined to do a lucrative trade", he wrote.

But Barlow said he would not be joining the crowds. "I don't think we can sit in that audience somehow,” he said.Take That are "just starting" work on a new album, the follow-up to their 2006 comeback record Beautiful World, the singer and songwriter said.

Asked whether he had been in touch with former bandmate Robbie Williams, he replied: "I haven't, no. I live here and he lives in LA. I think he's been very quiet recently."

Detalles del próximo tour

En palabras de una chica del foro inglés:
"On Entertainment today, Michael said that he spoke to Gary at the awards yesterday. He said that the material for the new album is the best ever and that they are planning an accoustic stadium tour, with the stage being in the centre of the stadium"

Take That's Gary Barlow says they're back for good

Despite that atrocious gingery facial ferret (whatever is he thinking?), Gary Barlow has every reason to smile.

The Take That hottie scooped the gong for Most Performed Work, for his hit single Shine, at yesterday's illustrious Ivor Novello Awards.

Gazza, who's been beefing up his bod in the gym, told us at the awards: "We're in the studio at the moment, writing new material and working on the next album."

He added: "I'm really looking forward to seeing Amy Winehouse. I've never met her before but, strangely, Mark (Owen) knows her really well.

"Mark knows everyone - he seems to collect friends. So it's not as weird as it sounds!"

Not as weird as your beard, mate...

ChrisTTmas presenTT

GARY BARLOW has given TAKE THAT fans an early Christmas present – and promised the manband will be back in December.
I told you last week that Gary, MARK OWEN, HOWARD DONALD and JASON ORANGE were holding secret talks about a comeback.
And Gaz admitted the news after picking up a gong at the Ivors bash which honours top songwriters.
He revealed: “We will be back by Christmas. We couldn’t stay away.
“I haven’t written the songs yet but we are going to be back. There should be a tour as well.”
Gary was at the awards in London’s plush Grosvenor House Hotel with Howard.
The lads are still looking after themselves even though they’re on a break – and Gaz is clearly still off the muffins. He said: “You better start getting in shape. I’ve got a challenge for you next year that you’ll have to be fit for.”
I hope Jason’s not out of break dancing action and they need a replacement.
When the tour gets sorted Gary wants 1990s boy band rivals LET LOOSE to support. If you’ve spent the last decade trying to forget them, here’s a reminder.
The trio’s biggest song was No2 Crazy For You and they also had hits with Seventeen and One Night Stand. The band have a MySpace campaign to see if fans want them to reunite.
And one man certainly does.
Gary told me: “Let Loose are due back. They were one of my favourite bands of the ‘90s. They can support us on tour if they want.”
And the TT comeback wasn’t the only surprise of the night — PHIL COLLINS made the audience laugh. He isn’t a man I ever thought would get a giggle for anything other than his acting in Buster.
But the drummer earned a chuckle when accepting his Outstanding Contribution gong.
He said: “I can’t get away without thanking the gorilla. He is far more talented and better looking than me so I am going to offer him the Genesis job.”Phil is pictured with fellow award-winner MIKA to his right.
Other guests included KATE NASH who missed out on the Best Contemporary Song prize, and MARK RONSON who supported AMY WINEHOUSE, winner of the Best Song gong.
Meanwhile Take That’s former rivals BOYZONE are launching their comeback on Sunday. And the TT lads have some advice to stop the Irish group flopping like EAST 17 and 5IVE.
Gary said: “They have to come out with new material.”
Howard added: “You see so many groups come and go.”
After scooping two Brits in February the lads planned a year out. But they couldn’t stay away and are now working towards a mammoth Christmas tour.
Gary added: “We’re workaholics and missed each other. But we’re together and it’s great.”
Please excuse me. I’m off to break into a rendition of Back For Good.
