Brand new album and single announced!

Following the most exciting reunion in British pop history, Take That unveil the title of their long awaited new album 'Progress' out November 22nd through Polydor Records. 'The Flood' will be the first single and will be released on November 14th digitally and November 15th physically and will get its very first play on UK radio from 8.15am on October 8th.

There has been speculation and excitement aplenty since the band reformed as a five piece, fuelled recently by pictures of Gary, Howard, Jason, Mark and Robbie published rowing on the river Thames. This can now be confirmed as the making of the video for 'The Flood' which was filmed on location at Dorney Lake in Eton and along the Thames.

The reunion of reunions took place in New York last September, following Take That's record-breaking 'The Circus Live' tour. Shortly afterwards all five of the original Take That began writing and recording the six songs which would set the foundation for the forthcoming Stuart Price-produced album.

Robbie and Gary make the O'Grady

Robbie Williams and Gary Barlow will talk on TV for the first time about their reunion in Paul O'Grady Live on Friday next week.

The pair will also chat about their new single Shame, which they are releasing as a duo, on the ITV1 live show.

A source said: "This is a massive coup for Paul. His show is getting all of the best guests. It will be the first time Robbie and Gary have talked about their renewed friendship on telly since Robbie rejoined the band. Paul is really going to grill them on why they fell out."

The pals will also perform Shame on Strictly Come Dancing's opening show this Saturday. They will then rejoin Take That for The X Factor live shows.

MAN band TAKE THAT have named their new album Progress.
It's the quintet's first collection with ROBBIE WILLIAMS for over 15 years and will be released on November 22.

Take That se irá de gira con Kylie Minogue

Los Take That tienen un nuevo fichaje para la gira que están preparando para el año que viene. Kylie Minogue colaborará con ellos en su próximo tour actuando con ellos en un concierto que tendrá lugar en el Hollywood Bowl. Se espera que la banda consiga con ello un total de 58 millones de euros.

Los cantantes de Greatest Day, con Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Jason Orange, Howard Donald y de nuevo Robbie Williams, quieren formar equipo con la cantante australiana para actuar conjuntamente en el Hollywood Bowl de Estados unidos el próximo año.

Según explicaba una fuente al Daily Mirror, "los chicos quieren hacer todo lo posible para ello. Robbie y Kylie son amigos y se ha visto su éxito (el de la cantante) en el Hollywood Bowl, lo que hizo surgir la idea de que podrían comenzar tocando en ese sitio".

A principios de año los Take That anunciaron que se habían reunido con Robbie Williams para hacer la mayor gira que nunca han hecho el próximo verano y esperaban ganar por cada componente del grupo una cantidad de 17 millones de euros.

Si así ocurre, no sería de extrañar, ya que con su última gira, The Circus (en la que Robbie no formaba parte), las entradas se vendieron en cuestión de minutos. Según informa una fuente a Contact Music, su próximo tour, que constará de 54 conciertos y en el que contarán con Kylie, será incluso más grande que el anterior.

"El equipo creativo de la gira de Take That trabajará en el mayor show que nunca hayan puesto en marcha. Kim Gravin, que ha trabajado con ellos en todas las giras, está preparado para desarrollar increíbles ideas", insiste entusiasmado.

Está previsto que la banda consiga un total de 58 millones de euros por la gira, sin contar con casi 30 millones de euros derivados de las ventas de sus productos y las apariciones en televisión.

JLS vs Take That

There hasn't been a decent chart battle since little JOE McELDERRY squared up to RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE last Christmas. But that was handbags compared to this battle of the bands.

New boys JLS will attempt to slay man band TAKE THAT in the album charts. Both acts have new releases due on November 22.

In the tale of the tapes, the JLS boys have a long way to go before they measure up to Take That's fame. They've been there, done it, shagged the groupies, split up and started all over again.

Now they're back with ROBBIE WILLIAMS after 15 years apart.

GARY BARLOW, JASON ORANGE, MARK OWEN and HOWARD DONALD shifted two million copies of their last studio album The Circus. And their as-yet untitled album, recorded in Los Angeles and London, is potentially the biggest of the decade. Everyone I've spoken to who has heard the unnamed album says it sounds completely different to anything they've done before.

But both bands - signed to rival labels Universal and Sony - will put their all into getting to No1.

The date is so important for the music industry that executives are calling it "Super Monday" - like Super Tuesday in America, the biggest polling date in their election calendar.

Over in the JLS camp ASTON MERRYGOLD, MARVIN HUMES, ORITSE WILLIAMS and JB GILL have recorded their new album Outta This World in LA and London, too.

And their debut effort last November at the same time as Robbie's comeback CD Reality Killed The Video Star beat him into second place in the charts. So it's 1-0 to JLS.

November 22 is also the date for the new Now! compilation and albums from JUSTIN BIEBER and ALESHA DIXON. A CD of new MICHAEL JACKSON material is expected too.

But everything changes with these two - the biggest pop bands of the moment.

JLS's label boss NICK RAPHAEL said: "People expect Take That to win. But it will be the biggest battle since OASIS and BLUR."

Take That set sights on Kylie gig

Looks like Robbie and Kylie really will be doing it for the kids... after secrets of the Take That tour have been unleashed.

We hear the band could team up with Kylie for a gig at the Hollywood Bowl next year. An insider said: "The guys really want to pull out all the stops for this. Robbie and Kylie are close and it was seeing the success of her gig at the Hollywood Bowl that sparked the idea they could play there in the first place." Fingers crossed...

Take That Track Tops Love Songs Poll

TAKE THAT's hit A MILLION LOVE SONGS has been voted the greatest ballad of all time.

The British pop band released the track, which was written by Gary Barlow when he was aged just 15, in 1992 - and music fans have named it the best romantic tune ever.

(Everything I Do) I Do It for You by Bryan Adams, which spent 16 weeks atop the British singles chart in 1991, was voted in to second place, while Always by Bon Jovi came third in the OnePoll.com rundown.
