Gary Barlow podría sustituir a Simon Cowell en Britain's Got Talent

Hire Gary to relight BGT's fire

TAKE That star Gary Barlow is the man to save Britain's Got Talent if Simon Cowell quits, reckons Stephen Mulhern.

The Britain's Got More Talent host, 33, thinks Relight My Fire singer Gary would be a great replacement for boss Simon on the panel.

Stephen told TV Biz: "Gary would be brilliant. He was a mentor on The X Factor and you could tell he cares and I think that's really important.

"He would be constructive. He's been there, he's done it, so he would bring a different side to things."

Stephen also says celebrity publicist Max Clifford, 67, should replace judge Piers Morgan, who looks set to take over from legendary US interviewer Larry King, 76, at CNN.

He said: "Max has similar experience to Piers. He knows the pitfalls."

Simon, 50, has already vowed to miss the audition stage of next year's series as he focuses on launching the US version of The X Factor.

Stephen said: "If Simon leaves they need to pick the replacement very carefully.

"If Piers goes as well it's a real shame. They have got it so right and the balance is good."

Stephen says he has a good relationship with Piers, 45 - who last week wed Celia Walden - and teases him about his different styles on BGT and America's Got Talent.

He laughed: "Have you noticed how Piers changes his hair? The Americans obviously want a different look.

"It's suave and pushed to the side and he's definitely got a spray tan."

Meanwhile, former magician Stephen is preparing to host his own Saturday night prime-time game show Magic Numbers on ITV1 later this summer.

Viewers will win up to £250,000 by matching digits from their landline or mobile phone with numbers produced by variety acts.

Take That back with live Gig?

THERE is some good news on the horizon for TAKE THAT fans suffering from withdrawal symptoms following the band's epic Circus tour last year.

More evidence has cropped up of another stunning live show to come next summer.

It sounds like a huge production is on the way after the City of Manchester Stadium was sounded out about a Take That residency during the close season.
The stadium - home of Manchester City - hasn't been used for three years for outdoor shows, but that is changing in 2011.
A source said: "The owners were becoming concerned at the damage caused to the pitch by the big shows. But the club are spending a fortune on a new state-of-the-art pitch.
"It combines plastic fibres with grass, which makes it very hard wearing.
"Take That's management have discussed dates for next June over a minimum of three nights across a weekend."
Take That played the stadium back in 2006.
Gary told me last year that his biggest regret on the Circus tour was doing too few dates. It could have sold out three times over.
Imagine the demand if ROBBIE WILLIAMS' name is on the ticket?

Robbie Williams: Greatest Hits 1990-2010

A new album and a new single are on their way this October!

Robbie has teamed up with Gary Barlow on his next single, Shame, which is not only co-written but also performed with his former bandmate. The duet between the two superstars is set for release on 4th October later this year and working on this track is the first time the two have written and recorded together since Robbie left Take That back in 1995, that's 15 years ago!

Shame is the first single to be released from In And Out Of Consciousness: The Greatest Hits 1990-2010, Robbie's 39-track album of greatest hits from the last 20 years.

Spread over two CDs, this is the definitive collection of Robbie hits celebrating his impressive career to date; 57 million albums sold, 11 million singles sold, seven UK No.1 albums (making him the biggest selling solo artist in the UK), a Guinness World Record for fastest ever ticket sales… it's no wonder that he picked up the Outstanding Contribution To Music award at the esteemed BRIT Awards in London earlier this year!Speaking about his forthcoming album and working with Gary Barlow again, Robbie said: “It’s incredible to listen to the album and realise that it’s already been 20 years of making music and playing gigs. And the great thing about the album is that it’s not only a celebration of my past but also a bridge to the future. The fact that part of the future includes a name from my past makes it all the more poignant for me”.

To be released on CD and DVD, In And Out Of Consciousness will be out on 11th October 2010.

Williams y Barlow escribieron conjuntamente "Shame".

(DPA)

Mark Owen smiles like a man who realises how lucky he is as he goes for a walk with his family.

This was the first time we've see the 38-year-old Take That singer with wife EMMA and daughter WILLOW ROSE since he admitted sleeping with ten other women.

Emma, 33, was all smiles too and clearly enjoying being with her husband following his stint in rehab for depression and boozing.

The couple took a stroll with year-old Willow Rose in a park close to their £2million home in Wandsworth, south-west London.

An onlooker said: They both looked really happy like they've started again.
