Robbie's the biggest Pop Star ever

Robbie Williams has been named music's greatest superstar of all time in a new poll by MTV.

Robbie Williams has been named music's greatest superstar of all time.
The 'Angels' singer - who hasn't released a song since 2007 - topped a poll by MTV, beating his former bandmates Take That and the late 'King of Pop' Michael Jackson, proving he still has a strong following.
A source said: "This proves that Robbie is still a superstar in many people's minds."
Other acts in the top 10 include 'Mr Brightside' hitmakers The Killers, British girl band Girls Aloud and dance act The Prodigy.
Beyonce Knowles, sexy girl group Pussycat Dolls and rockers Oasis also made the poll.
The news comes at a great time for Robbie as he launches his comeback, with his new album 'Reality Killed the Video Star' being released later this year.
It was recently revealed Calvin Harris is desperate to work with Robbie.
The 'I'm Not Alone' hitmaker - who has previously collaborated with Dizzee Rascal and Kylie Minogue - says the 'Rock DJ' star is top of the list of artists he hopes to team-up with on his next record.
He said: "I want to work with Robbie, he's my number one target now.
"I think he's just finished his new album with producer Trevor Horn though. Maybe he can come and help on my next record instead."

¿Os acordaís de aquellos palitos que al girar formaban estrellas y el simbolo de TT durante "Hold up a light"? Algunas pensamos estar locas cuando lo vimos, otras no lo apreciaron y alguna incluso intentó comprarlo en los puestos de merchandising.

Future's Orange at new Cheshire bar

Forget champagne - it was all about Orange at the launch of new Cheshire bar Boca.

Namely, a certain Take That heart-throb Jason Orange - who headed to the bash to support twin brother Justin Orange, the bar's resident DJ.

Jason dashed to the swanky do from a modelling shoot in London, but then was Up All Night partying with his bro at the South American-themed bar in Wilmslow.

Acclaimed DJ Justin has been drafted in to entertain the Cheshire Set crowd with a weekend residency at the new bar, run by husband and wife team Janet and David Rivett.

Janet was, needless to say, delighted with the event.

"Justin and Jason are very close and go out a lot together, so I hope we'll be seeing more of him," says Janet.

Mark to get married

OWEN TO WED GIRLFRIEND

TAKE THAT star MARK OWEN is set to wed his girlfriend EMMA FERGUSON in a lavish ceremony in November (09).

The Back For Good singer and his longterm partner have been engaged since 2006 and share two children together.
And they're set to seal their union by walking down the aisle later this year (09) at a Scottish castle, according to the U.K.'s Daily Record newspaper.
A source tells the publication, "They have been offered staggering amounts of money by a magazine (to cover the wedding)... But it didn't really appeal to them. They have picked a venue that holds a lot of sentimental value, but they want it to be a surprise for their family and friends right up until the big day."

The Take That star will wed long-term girlfriend Emma Ferguson - mother of his two children, Elwood Jack, three, and nine-month-old Willow Rose - in November at a secret venue in Scotland.

The couple have sent out save-the-date invites and guests - who will include Mark's bandmates Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Jason Orange - have been told to meet at a pick-up point, where they will be taken to the mystery location.

A source said: "They have picked a venue that's special to them. But they want it to be a surprise for their family and friends right up until the big day. Everyone has been trying to guess where it is, but not even Gary, Howard or Jason know where they will be.

"All they know is they have a night off and won't be expected to provide the entertainment for the night."

Mark, 37, first proposed to Emma in 2006 but delayed their nuptials due to the birth of their two children as well as Mark's commitments with Take That.

The source added: "Mark and Emma have been planning their wedding for sometime and have put a lot of thought into what they wanted. They already have two beautiful children so getting married is just the icing on the cake for their family."

It is thought the couple will only invite around 50 guests. Mark's former Take That bandmate and close friend Robbie Williams is expected to attend.

Rock Profile: Take That

Ya sabéis que siempre vuelvo de Londres con alguna cosilla nueva de Take That, o al menos con alguna cosilla que no conocíamos.

Esta vez ha sido el dvd de Rock Profile (Matt Lucas, David Walliams: Little Britain).
Rock Profile se emitía en Uk hace unos años, siendo el comienzo de los actores de Little Britain. Como bien recordaréis, Lucas y Walliams parodiaron a Howard y Gary para la entrega de un premio a Robbie Williams, pues esa caracterización venía de este programa de humor en el que parodiaban através de sketchs a diferentes celebrities.

El DVD lo compré en HMV por tan sólo 3 libras y es posible que podáis comprarlo online. En el doble dvd podréis encontrar una parodia a Gary Barlow después de la ruptura de Take That, viviendo en un cuchitril con Howard como mayordomo y Howard incapaz de recordar si él también estaba en Take That. :D

En el segundo DVD la parodia es sobre la Comeback Reunion de Take That, con Howard otra vez de mayordomo.

No es lo más divertido que he visto de los actores de Little Britain, pero saliendo TT y por 3 libras..¡hay que tenerlo!

Cheryl Cole "desperate" for Barlow ballad

Cheryl Cole is reportedly "desperate" for Gary Barlow to write a ballad for her debut solo album.

According to New magazine, the Girls Aloud star asked Barlow to pen her a song while the pair were climbing Mount Kilimanjaro for Comic Relief earlier this year.

Cole has already secured the help of Black Eyed Peas' will.i.am and Taio Cruz for her solo offering, which is expected to be released later this year.

Barlow has yet to confirm the reports, but told the publication: "Cheryl's great. She's fun, feisty and knows her stuff!"

The 26-year-old has notched up twenty-one Top 10 singles since securing a place in Girls Aloud, including her collaboration with will.i.am on 'Heartbreaker' last year.

Barlow has previously written songs for Delta Goodrem, Blue, Charlotte Church, John Barrowman and H & Claire.
