Robbie Williams is again an aspiring Los Angeles lothario after a final split with his girlfriend of less than a year Ayda Field.


Insiders say Rob desperately wanted the relationship to work and even took Ayda on romantic trips to Europe and more recently Mexico, but ultimately she couldn’t understand his aversion to LA’s social set and laddish eccentricity.


'Ayda was attracted to Rob as he is vastly different to the average LA guy she is accustomed to, but in the end this was exactly what ended their relationship, he’s too different.

'Rob’s indifference about the LA scene annoyed her,' the source added.


'He was content to stay in eat junk food and watch DVD’s while Ayda was yearning for some glam nights out.


'That’s because Ayda is hungry to advance in her career and play the Hollywood game which means schmoozing, meeting right people and moving in the right circles.


'Yet Robbie doesn't care, he doesn’t need to, he ’s ambivalent about all that as he can afford to be.


'He gave their relationship a serious go, but it was really the fact they weren’t on the same page in terms of where their lives are going.

Robbie Williams could pick up £1.5million for one concert - but a source said it's "touch and go" if he will do it.

The singer is wanted to headline a festival in Sandness, Norway, for just half an hour - netting him £50,000 a minute. But Robbie, who is taking a break from music and has vowed not to tour because the last one "nearly killed me", might turn the offer down.

A source close to him said: "It would be probably the easiest money he'll make in his life but it's touch and go whether he'll say yes. We'll have to wait and see."

Robbie has posted on his blog: "The more time I'm spending away from public life, the more I like it." Robbie, 34, is also in dispute with his record label EMI after they were bought by private equity firm Terra Firm.

He has threatened to withhold the release of his next album which could jeopardise EMI's future.

He has told fans on his blog, "there definitely won't be a tour any time soon".

Robbie, who lives in Los Angeles, added: "I might put the B-sides to the next album out first online. Then put an album out in 2009 which means you won't be seeing a lot of me on stage."

ALL about Mark in Celebrity Big brother

The show:

Celebrity Big Brother was a shorter version of Big Brother which raised money for various charities using the proceeds from viewer voting. Six celebrity contestants would have to live in a house together that had no contact with the outside world, complete various tasks to win a shopping budget and nominate each other to be evicted by the public.

In 2002 Mark took part in the second series of the show, which started on the 20th November and ended on the 29th November. The nominated charities were; Centrepoint, National Missing Persons Helpline, Rethink severe mental illness and Samaritans and the series was sponsored by the phone company O2.

Joining Mark in the house were; Les Dennis, Melinda Messenger, Sue Perkins, Anne Diamond and Goldie. Goldie was the first to leave the house on Day 5 after receiving a total of 4 nominations, he was then followed by Anne on Day 7 and Sue was evicted on Day 9. This left Les, Melinda and Mark as the final contestants on Day 10. Melinda came third place and the final vote was held later that evening between Mark and Les. Mark won first place after receiving 77% of the public vote.

Mark's Audition:

Each hopeful contestant had to make an audition tape with reasons why they should be allowed to take part in Big Brother and why they would be a good housemate.

Mark decided to use ‘Cinderella’ for his audition:

Ugly Sister 1: “Six years ago, you came to our doorstep, claiming to be that Michael Owen from Take That”

For anyone thinking of putting together a boy band or a girl group, there are three golden rules.

First and foremost, being able to sing is not essential. But looking good while appearing to sing is.

As long as you have one or two good voices that can carry the rest of the group, you are halfway there.

The ones with little or no talent - Victoria Beckham in the Spice Girls, Jason Orange in Take That or nearly all of Boyzone - are known as 'passengers'.

Golden Rule Number Two is: Make sure your band has five members. The accountants prefer four as they are cheaper to shove in one taxi. But don't listen: five is the magic number.

This way you're covered when one of the band members leaves. It means you can carry on regardless, like Westlife after their bust-up with Brian McFadden.

Take That are actually doing better than ever now they don't have to carry the increasingly heavy weight that was Robbie Williams.

Sadly, Boyz II Men, a quartet, didn't look the same after one of them left. They carried on as a three-piece but never quite filled the stage in the same way.

And finally, Golden Rule Number Three: Hire working-class kids who will do what you say.

As my business partner Paul says: 'What you want are working-class boys from council estates who want to be famous and who are prepared to put in the work.

'You don't want stage-school kids. They're too clever and not at all sexy.

'You don't want rich kids. You don't want spoilt kids. You don't want middle-class kids who answer back.'

I spent my late 20s managing my friends, and then, eventually, in my 30s I struck lucky, presiding over the rise of two successful groups. They made me a wealthy man.

And despite all the predictions of the demise of the music industry, there is still money to be made: you just have to know how to go about it. So here is my step-by-step guide to manufacturing a boy band.

La carta astral de Jason

I have a bit of a special interest in Jason Orange as he attended one of my astrology courses in South Manchester a few years ago. On enrolment night at the College of Further Education where the 12 week course was being held, I was asked by one of the organisers to talk to "the young chap over there" who was interested in joining the course. I chatted to him about what he'd learn on the course and he decided to enrol, although at first he sounded very sceptical and suspicious about it. I had no idea who he was (not being into the UK boy bands who were hugely popular in the early 1990's) but when the class started there was a flutter of something interesting going on as the ladies present visibly preened their feathers and became rather smiley and friendly in his direction. Someone whispered to me "Is that Jason Orange?" I said yes, and asked why she wanted to know. It was then I discovered that he was one of the pop group "Take That".


After the initial flutter of excitement from the class, things settled down as Jason was a thoroughly nice person who joined in everything and was just like any other member of the class. And the ladies, being regular common-sense Mancunians, didn't stay distracted by his presence for long.

What of Jason's chart? (which he learned to draw up for himself). He was born on 10.7.1970 in Manchester, but didn't know his time of birth so we used noon, as is shown in the chart here. His is a very striking looking chart, and the image it conjures up for me is of high powered activity, fast movement, perhaps of someone whirling with arms outstretched. It was only later that I learned that Jason got into the acting scene because of his skill as a break dancer; this is graphically reflected in the chart image. With an inner motivation to be restless, changeable and dynamic, his chart shows an overwhelming excess of red aspects; he has a ratio of 11 red: 2 green: 1 blue. This could be very difficult to live with for him, and others close to him as he could easily be active most of the time, not able to rest, relax or switch off easily at all. He has two Efficiency/Performance triangles, reinforcing the need to be "doing" for much of the time, plus a red/green Irritation triangle which could signify sensitivity, maybe touchiness and a tendency to fly off the handle when things get on top of him. This could be emphasised with Uranus as one of the pinning planets. Sparks could fly, especially as his Sun/sense of self is another of the planets involved. Bringing the third pinning planet - Mercury - into this equation suggests what he says in the heat of the moment might have a decidedly sharp cutting edge!

But Jason has his Sun in the Sign of Cancer, offering a softening effect to any outbursts, because Cancerians have an innately caring nature and love hearth and home. Taken together with Venus in Virgo, he could be very sensitively aware of how he relates to others and quite possibly ensures he has their best interests at heart.

At the time Jason joined my class "Take That" had disbanded. One member of the group, Robbie Williams, is now world famous, and you can read what I've written about his chart here. "Take That" re-formed in 2005 (without Robbie) and are now touring to sell-out audiences. For me, it was especially good to Jason and the other members of "Take That" on stage at the new Wembley Stadium in London last summer when they performed at the memorial concert for Diana, Princess of Wales. So Jason, if you happen to be reading this - good on you! And all the best for your future, back on stage where you belong.

Hola¡¡, Ese es el tema que tengo esta semana, pedazo de canción, no la había cantado nunca pero la conozco bien porque me enamoró desde el primer momento en que la escuché...La verdad es que los Take that se han salido con su último disco, composición, producción: para quitarse el sombrero, y eso que exceptuando alguna que otra cosa nunca he sido precisamente fan de ellos...Manu Guix dice que deberíamos ir a buscarlos a Inglaterra y matarlos por componer tan bien...jejjejeje...que loco....Pues eso que llevo dos días que cada vez que tengo uno de esos momentos de bajón, escucho un poquito de shine y se me cargan las pilas...Espero poder expresar todo esto en el escenario porque no se merece menos¡¡¡

Former boyband BLUE are in the final stages of negotiating their reunion – and I can’t take it any longer.
