¡no tenemos límite!

Thatters on Board 2008

¡Feliz promo, feliz tour y feliz 2009!

Patience... by Nick Lachey

Nueva colaboración de Take That

Robbie's comeback scheme

Were you a bit confused earlier this week when Robbie Williams had a sudden change of heart and announced that he would “love” to rejoin his former band Take That?

Well, so were we, but we're sure you won't be shocked to learn that Robbie is reportedly planning on using his reunion with Take That to launch his solo career again.

The singer has just recorded an album and he intends to use the hype from the band’s reunion to reach the top of the charts.Apparently the star wants to release his first single in two years just one month after reforming with the TT boys in a special one-off gig.
A source close to Robbie revealed: “He knows this is his last chance to make it big again. He needs the band to be successful again. And for Robbie, success and being Number One again are the only things that will make him happy now.”

The Circus passes million barrier

Take That's latest album The Circus will have sold more than a million copies by the end of Friday, according to the Official Charts Company.

The album had sold just over 990,000 copies by the end of Thursday, putting it well on course to pass the million mark on its 19th day in UK shops.

Only Oasis's Be Here Now reached that point quicker, taking 11 days to shift a million copies in 1997.

The Circus is now 2008's second biggest seller, behind Duffy's Rockferry.

The Welsh singer's debut album has sold 1.5m copies since its original release in March.

Retailers

"Take That will have to go some to overtake Rockferry and establish The Circus as the biggest-selling album of 2008, but it is not impossible," said the Official Charts Company's Martin Talbot.

Take That released their second album since reforming on 1 December - the same day Britney Spears released her similarly-named record Circus.

The foursome's previous album, Beautiful World, is currently the third fastest record to sell a million copies, having taken 27 days to do so in 2006.

The Official Charts Company compiles its charts from sales information from over 6,200 retailers, including all major high street chains.

Jason doesn't want Robbie back

A sensational return to Take That by Robbie Williams could be scuppered after Jason Orange revealed the band is split on a decision to take him back.

Talk of Robbie rejoining has been rife after the singer admitted this week he would "love" to link up with the former boyband again.

And Gary Barlow appeared to open the door for his return today when he said: "The band has been having great fun with Robbie over the last few months - it's been really good getting to know him again."

But Jason, 38, has confessed there are mixed views within the band on the return of Robbie, who quit to go solo in 1995 after a series of rows. He said: "We have different opinions on that. It could only be if he was fit and able. Who knows, but let's just say we have differing views on Robbie coming back."

Jason's comments were in contrast to the views of Gary, 37, who penned the band's hits including Back For Good. Barlow said: "He [Robbie] has sorted himself out and is in a really good place at the moment. It's great news that he's decided to come back to the UK.

"I've always loved working here and wouldn't want to be anywhere else - and I've been telling Robbie for a while now that he needs to move back. He's got a lot of unfinished business here."

Robbie, 34, revealed this week he was preparing to return to the UK after living in Los Angeles for five years, and he has bought a £7m house in Wiltshire.

He wrote in his blog: "I'd love to be in the band again, but I've got unfinished business of my own. I'd like to think we'd be the only band in the history of music to get together because of artistic differences."

Take That have enjoyed huge success since reforming and their album, The Circus, is currently at No 1.

Robbie is willing to come back

He's been in the wilderness... but now Robbie Williams is looking to quickstep back to stardom.

The Robster fancies his cha-cha-chances of wowing Britain with some fancy footwork on the next series of Strictly Come Dancing.

Robbie, 34, has his sights set on the Saturday night show when he returns to the UK - although he seems a bit confused by the exact name.Talking about his imminent comeback, Robbie says: "You can expect me on Celebrity Come Dancing towards the end of summer next year."

Robbie is currently packing up his gear in LA and getting ready to move back to the UK next week. And, by the sounds of it, he's ready for a spot of hard work.As well as plotting his way on to the Strictly set, his main priority for 2009 is to finish off his new solo album before any reunion with Take That goes ahead. "I'm going into the studio at the end of January to get it ready," he says. "If I could get it out quicker I would. These things take time though and I'm not very good at waiting."
Robbie admits on his website at robbiewilliams. com that he is desperate to quit LA after five years because he is missing the wind and rain of the UK.

He said: "I had to go away, how could anybody miss you when you're always there?"

Robbie's new album

ROBBIE WILLIAMS is planning his next album - he's heading back into the recording studio at the beginning of next year (09).
The Rock DJ singer's last LP release, Rudebox, received mixed reviews when it was released in 2006, but Williams is looking forward to producing his next offering.

He's so eager to start work on his new music, he'd happily start recording now - but restrictions on the studio's schedule don't allow him to start work any earlier.
He says, "I'm going into the studio at the end of January to get it ready. If I could get it out quicker I would. These things take time though and I'm not very good at waiting."

TAKE THAT desperately want to complete their all-conquering comeback by headlining Glastonbury.
The man band have never played a big festival and already have their eyes on a headline slot in 2010 as the icing on the cake for their incredible careers.

Bosses at their Universal label have held informal talks with festival chiefs and they could even be joined on stage by ex-bandmate ROBBIE WILLIAMS if reunion talks continue going well.

A source revealed: “The lads would love to headline Glastonbury.

“There has been a lot of talk of it in the band’s camp. It would be the perfect pinnacle of their fantastic career.

“It also fits the bill for what the band are looking for in terms of Robbie’s comeback.

“It’s not right for him to join the tour next summer. That’s about their latest album — nothing to do with him.

“But they do want a huge show where they can sing a greatest hits set and as many fans as possible can see it. Glastonbury could be that gig.

“By then work on the third album since their comeback could be under way. Robbie could even be involved in that too.”

Muddy
I hope Glasto boss MICHAEL EAVIS bites the band’s hand off.

If he doesn’t we will still see the lads in a muddy field at some stage as they are set on adding a festival headline slot to their list of achievements.

GARY BARLOW, MARK OWEN, HOWARD DONALD and JASON ORANGE performed at the Royal Variety Performance in London on Thursday night.

And now all four are ready to welcome Robbie back into the fold, after The Sun revealed this week how he is desperate to return.

Yesterday in The Sun Gary signalled he would welcome the reunion, revealing the part he played in getting Robbie to move back to the UK.

Last night Jason added: “I’m as excited as the next person. If he is serious about it then we have to get together now and work out how best we can do this.”

Mark added: “It would be the perfect ending.”

Robbie is bringing out a solo album next year and plans to tour then too.

Then he’d be free to return to the band and to Glastonbury, where he turned up with bleached hair in 1995 and partied with Oasis — dancing drunkenly onstage during their set — just before he split with Take That.

Let’s hope he behaves himself better than that time...

A whopping 89 per cent of you who called my phone poll said Take That should carry on without Robbie.

Gary eyes Girls Aloud duet

TAKE THAT star GARY BARLOW has his eye on an all-star collaboration - he would love his band to team up with British girl group GIRLS ALOUD.
The singer met Girls Aloud pop star Cheryl Cole when he accepted a mentoring role on U.K. reality TV show The X Factor, on which Cole is a judge.
And the encounter left Barlow pondering the idea of a duet with Cole and her bandmates.
He says, "They've done very well, it'd be great to work with them."
And a source tells Britain's The People, "The boys think the single would go down a storm. Just imagine it."

Take That tickets top a million

TAKE THAT have added another date to their sell-out summer tour which will take ticket sales over the one million mark.

And the buyer of the millionth ticket, for the concert at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium, will win a prize to include being personally presented with a commemorative disc by band members.

The Circus Live tour broke all UK box office records when tickets went on sale in October. It became the fasting selling tour in UK history, toppling Michael Jackson’s 1987 “Bad” Tour from the top spot.

Nineteen stadium dates have now all sold out, with more than 950,000 tickets snapped up by fans.

Tickets for the newly added final show, on June 17, will go on sale next Tuesday at 9am.

It’s the first time the Millennium Stadium has been re-booked for consecutive shows since 2001 when ex–band member Robbie Williams sold out a July 14 concert and re-opened the following night.

As long as the rolling stones

British band TAKE THAT are determined to stay around as long as the ROLLING STONES, according to singer HOWARD DONALD.

Donald, along with Mark Owen, Gary Barlow and Jason Orange, reformed the band for a hugely successful comeback in 2006 after enjoying chart success in the 1990s.

And Donald is convinced the band have enough longevity to rival the Can't Get No Satisfaction hitmakers.

He tells Britain's Star magazine, "(We'll) Probably (be around) as long as the Rolling Stones. To knock Take That off the top this time is going to take a very special band."

"TAKE THAT OR ME, ROBBIE."

AYDA FIELDS SAID: "IT'S TAKE THAT OR ME, ROBBIE"

15th December 2008

ROBBIE Williams is facing a setback with his return to Blighty as his beloved girlfriend Ayda Field won’t join him.

The 34-year-old pop legend was cock-a-hoop about them moving into their new £7million home in Compton Bassett, Wiltshire.

He was also understandably excited about hooking up with his Take That comrades and, being Rob, quite intrigued by the ley lines and crop circles in the area.

But American beauty Ayda, 29, says she can’t leave Hollywood if she is to succeed in her acting career and has told Rob flatly that she is staying in California.

Our source told us: “It’s been a real blow for Rob.

“He felt that he had everything – the chance to move home, a rekindling of his relationship with Take That and all this with the love of his life by his side.

“Now Ayda has really thrown it all into confusion. She’s staying in California. She’s made that very clear, but she also wants Rob to be there most of the time.

“She’s told friends that he must visit often if they want to work as a couple and really she thinks he should commute from their home in LA.

“What he had wanted to do, however, was set up a real home in England.

“Rob’s been in LA for five years and feels ready to go home. He wants to be settled, to spend time with family and old friends.

“Flying back and forth across the Atlantic was not what he had he mind.

So Rob’s between a rock and a hard place, or more accurately, between a beautiful woman and his uber-successful old band and a luxury home.

So perhaps we shouldn’t feel too sorry for him.

“Ayda really supports Robbie,” our mole continued.

“But it’s hard for her to really understand the emotional weight of the Take That reunion.

Gary wants Robbie to move to UK

TAKE THAT singer GARY BARLOW encouraged former bandmate ROBBIE WILLIAMS to move back to the U.K. - because it is the perfect place to pen new songs.Earlier this week (beg08Dec08), a British tabloid reported that Williams was set to move back to England after living in Los Angeles for five years. And Barlow thinks he was the driving force behind the Angel hitmaker's decision. He tells Britain's The Sun, "It's great news that he's decided to come back to the U.K. I've always loved working here and wouldn't want to be anywhere else - and I've been telling Robbie for a while now that he needs to move back. I think the time is right for him to come back now."I don't think the U.S. is the best place for him to be. This is where he thrives and is the best thing he can do for his career. He's got a lot of unfinished business here and he'll be back to his best in no time if he comes home."

Gary wants Robbie to rejoin TT

TAKE THAT star GARY BARLOW has been getting closer to ex-bandmate ROBBIE WILLIAMS - and would love him to rejoin the band.

Williams quit the boyband to pursue a solo career in 1995, and the four other members - Barlow, Jason Orange, Mark Owen, and Howard Donald - disbanded the group in 1996, but reunited for a hugely successful tour 10 years later.Earlier this week (beg08Dec08), Angels singer Williams said he would "love" to rejoin the group - and Barlow has hinted it could be a possibility at some stage.

He tells Britain's The Sun newspaper, "The band has been having great fun with Robbie over the last few months and we've been talking a lot. It's been really good getting to know him again."And Barlow has reassured fans that Williams' past drink and drugs troubles are behind him: "He has sorted himself out and is in a really good place at the moment."And, on British morning show GMTV, he added, "It's like no time has passed."But despite their reignited friendship, Barlow has ruled out his former bandmate joining them on their tour next year (09).He says, "Robbie will not be coming on tour with us next year because he's got his own things to do. But we are not ruling out getting together with him beyond that."However, bandmate Howard Donald is hopeful of a surprise appearance from Williams: "You just never know when he's gonna pop outta that box."

De una semana a dos años

"We thought it would last a week... It's been a long week."

GARY BARLOW admits he's amazed TAKE THAT's reunion has lasted two years.

"Robbie, Do not rejoin TT"

Music mogul SIMON COWELL has advised ROBBIE WILLIAMS not to rejoin his former bandmates in TAKE THAT

The pop star - who quit the group in 1995 - has been dogged by rumours about a possible collaboration with his former colleagues ever since the band reformed in 2006.

And speculation about a possible reunion has rocketed since it was revealed that Williams has been spending time with his former bandmates after healing their rift. But Cowell is adamant that a reunion would be a risky move for Williams, who enjoyed a hugely successful solo career after leaving the Never Forget hitmakers.

Cowell tells British magazine Heat, "That’s a tricky one. I think I would keep it (Take That) as it is. He (Williams) could do a guest slot now and again. A duet?”And Cowell admits he would be delighted if Williams would agree to appear on his British TV talent show X Factor for the series finale on Saturday (13Dec08) night. He adds, "I would have loved Robbie to have been there on Saturday night and it's never too late. He’s still one of the biggest stars in the world. He’s great. I love Robbie."

Robbie Williams: "Quiero volver a Take That"

Take That cancela su actuación en X Factor

Take That have reportedly pulled out of their appearance on this Saturday's X Factor final.

The band apparently refused to perform after discovering that recently reformed boyband Boyzone would also be present.

A source told The Sun: "Take That are huge fans of X Factor, especially Gary Barlow. He feels a real affinity with the show and loves encouraging new talent. When they heard Boyzone were on the bill they decided not to do it. It’s really upset the schedule."

Beyoncé, Seal and Duffy will also be performing with the finalists.

¿Quién presta a quién?
