En fin...que aunque en hoy no estemos en este conciertazo del 31...

( umm..mejor paro..q esto ya son muchas uvas!)

Its charity for singer Robbie Williams this Christmas, for the former Take That star has volunteered himself to a homeless shelter for the day.
The Feel singer will be spending both Christmas Day and Boxing Day distributing gifts to the less fortunate ones at the Skid Row charity house in LA.
The singer might also play a few notes on his guitar and will be singing Christmas carols after they finish eating.
It was Robbie’s chef friend Raymond Terry who first took him to see the shelter and had quite a few good things to tell about the 33-year-old stars philanthropy.
“Robbie does an awful lot of charity work. And this is really close to his heart. Everybody I’ve taken to Skid Row is moved to tears. And the homeless people there are a lot of fun, The Sun quoted Raymond, as saying.She further said that though the inmates loved Robbie, they were hardly informed of his star status.
“Most of the guys over here don’t really know who Robbie is. But there’s a lot of excitement in the air, because they’ve been told he’s a big pop star in Europe , she added. (ANI)

Robbie Williams to stage a $300m comeback tour

British singer Robbie Williams is set to take revenge on his former ‘Take That’ bandmates - by staging a $300 million comeback world tour.

The ‘Feel’ singer is eager to prove he is bigger than his hold bandmates, Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Howard Donald and Jason Orange - who recently completed a sold-out European tour - by lining up a sensational string of concerts of his own.

A source close to 33-year-old Robbie - whose 2006 album ‘Rudebox’ was panned by critics, told Britain’s Daily Star newspaper: “Whatever the critics say he is a force to be reckoned with and everyone knows he puts on a great show which is why millions across the globe are always desperate to get their hands on his concert tickets.

“After so long out of the limelight his fans are desperate to see him back where he belongs, on stage. It has the potential to be one of the biggest tours ever see.”

The tour will see Robbie perform at Knebworth, England, once again, where he played to 375,000 in just three days back in 2003.

La bailarina de la izquierda coge a Jason de la mano..la de la derecha...a Mark de la corbata..y la del centro coge a Gary de.... la pita??

As CityLife's reviewers pick their gigs of the year, Helen Tither reckons a certain boy (now man) band topped the lot ...

It's worrying really - this is the second time in a row that Take That have been my gig of the year. It's almost as disturbing as the unhealthy crush I'm developing on the newly-chiselled Gary Barlow (I know, it's so wrong but strangely so right at the same time).

In fact, I've got a confession to make - I've never really been a Take That fan. While the other girls in my class were kissing their Robbie Williams posters, I was drawing kohl round my eyes and pining over Kurt Cobain.

But fast forward a decade and here I am, cooing over Gary's cheeky butt and praising Howard's pole-dancing. So why the transformation?

Call it hormones, call it temporary insanity, or maybe it's just the fact that the fab foursome put on the best gig of the year. Pure and simple. They called it the Beautiful World tour - but really, it was more like World Domination as they arrived on stage in a flurry of ticker-tape, fists waved defiantly in the air at the critics (including yours truly) who said it would never work.

And, once they'd whipped the crowd of former teenyboppers into something of a revolutionary fervour, they didn't disappoint, with one superbly staged hit after another.

From the Las Vegas strip-joint-style reworking of It Only Takes A Minute to a hot voodoo dance version of Relight My Fire, it was one spectacle after another, as flames leapt into the air and giant glitter globes descended from the sky.

I guess what I'm saying is it was a real show, a real eyeball-grabbing spectacular. A kind of "ooh" and "ahh" experience that makes you feel like you've really seen something special.

And, when you've seen as many bad boybands as I have that's something special. Maybe it's because they're a man band now.

But, for all the glitz and glamour, the simple touches made this the gig of the year. The reminiscences of how they used to catch the bus into town, or Gary's teary-eyed declaration of how it feels good to be back home. There's something about them that will forever be Manchester - how could you not love that?

We all had teenage crushes on Take That, and now they've come back we fancy them all over again. At Number 5 it's the luscious Jason Orange.
“Jason Orange is H.O.T. He’s got the most amazing body and a totally gorgeous smile. I could barely take my eyes off him when I went to see Take That on their recent arena tour. He is such an amazing dancer and looks so fit! He (and to be honest, all of the boys) made me involuntarily scream like I was an hysterical 13-year-old again. Best of all, he seems to be getting better-looking with age.”

Me ha llegado hoy, y ya lo he visto 2 veces, lleva el concierto y los video clips de Makin' Out y Believe in the Boggie, tambien una entrevista a Mark. Me encantaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

La lastima es que no me llegara a tiempo para llevarmelo a Manchester y que me lo firmara, pero con la gente que habia alli hubiera sido mision imposible.

CURRENTLY-svelte Take That star Gary Barlow is facing a temptation-filled Christmas – because all his pals have bought him food hampers. The recently slimmed-down singer, whose band will see in the New Year at London’s O2 venue, has been inundated with hampers – from the likes of Elton John and one from record company Universal – filled with gourmet cheeses and mouthwatering chocolates. One is a limited edition £150 hamper made at singer Sting’s country pile and filled with treats such as beetroot chutney and pricey plonk. Our source proffering the calorie counter says: “He’s said they’re all great hampers but he wishes he didn’t have so many. He joked his wife would have to keep them away from him.”

La tentación de Gary Barlow, de Take That, con sus cestas de Navidad El cantante del grupo musical Take That no sabe qué hacer con la cantidad de cestas navideñas que ha recibido este año como regalo. Al parecer, según informa el diario británico Daily Express, al artista le han enviado cestas de comida su amigo Elton John y su compañía discográfica, entre otros. Gary, que consiguió bajar de peso y ponerse en forma para su vuelta a los escenarios después de una rigurosa dieta, asegura que "las cestas son geniales" pero que "desearía no haber recibido tantas". El cantante bromeó que su esposa "deberá evitarle caer en la tentación".

Mark Owen can't wait for Take That to finish touring so he can go to concerts again. The singer is currently on a European tour with the reunited boy band but the group have ruled out touring next year and Mark is now looking forward to becoming a music fan again. He said: "I've booked my Winnebago for Glastonbury - I am SO there. It's exciting. There's talk of Kylie performing. "I really wanted to go and see The Police but I missed out on tickets so I'll need to get some for the Isle of Wight festival as they're headlining it. "I've heard a lot of good things about Ibiza Rocks as well, so it'd be great to get out there. I've never been to Ibiza." Mark also revealed Take That's tour is playing havoc with his Christmas shopping. He added: "I've got to get a move on with it. I'm thinking about doing it over the internet as we're on tour right up until Christmas Eve. "We are doing a Secret Santa with our dancers. I know what I'm going to get my person but I can't say as it will ruin the surprise." Mark and the boys - Gary Barlow, Jason Orange and Howard Donald - will perform a New Year's Eve special concert at London's O2 arena.

No podíamos irnos de tierra santa sin pisar el Marks & Spencer..y lo único que quedaba eran las corbatas que han diseñado ellos. Lo mejor es que iban firmadas ¡por detrás!

Bueno chicas!!os deseo que el 2008 os traiga tantas alegrias como el 2007!

Es cierto, desde hoy..ya no hay más! se ha acabado! mu!

¡Ya hemos vuelto! Bueno, hemos vuelto pero Elenita y Jenny siguen de camino a sus hogares con amplias esperanzas de llegar a tiempo para la cena. Llegamos cansadas y tristes porque se haya acabado pero venimos cargadas de anécdotas que contar, de fotos,videos (¡ínéditos!,léase: Mancunian way en el concierto del 22 o a Howard tocanto con trompeta Jingle bells,A million love song con Beverly Night y los chicos cantanto el villancico).

La operación FoTTO ha estado difícil y no todos los objetivos han sido alcanzados..eso sí, Jenny tiene su foto con HoTTward (Howard nunca ha estado tan hoTT como ayer en el hotel!), Helen pudo "hacerse" la foto con Jason (persiguiéndole...pero algo es algo!)y consiguió tocarle y de regalo de Amigo Invisible (mio) se llevó la foto con el padre de Jason. Y el hombre le arrimó! jajajaaj al roce! mu majo el hombre! :) Sólo tuve que pedirle que se hiciera la foto con ella y encantado se la hizo..¡Ole!

Los conciertos han estado ¡GENIAL!
El del día 22 fué un auténtico regalo de Navidad porque encontrar entradas a quince minutos de empezar el concierto...¡¡No tiene precio!! Puedo deciros que ese día estábamos algo apagadillas por la tarde,y no dejábamos de decir..¿y si no tenemos entradas,que hacemos? -en Manchester,todo lo que no sea stalkear o ir de conciertos no merece la pena ;)- Y derepente..SUERTE TAKIE! (la que nos caracteriza! jajajaja) ENTRADAS!! BUEN BLOQUE!! Y BUENOS ASIENTOS!!! Con deciros que salimos corriendo del cyber café donde estabamos, emocionadas..y nos fuimos al estadio volando..sin takie tunning ni nada!
Ese concierto fué genial: Alucinamos cuando cantaron A million Love songs con Beverly Night, Luego el villancico, Yo lloré a más no poder durante Back for good y Jenny durante Pray se emocionó cuando derepente....MANCUNIAN WAY!! aaaaaaaaaaaaah! que pasada! Howard cantó genial y nos fuimos del concierto con un sabor de boca inmejorable!

El concierto de ayer, pues sólo puedo decir que lo disfrutamos al máximo y que ellos estuvieron genial! Gary cambió un poco la manera de cantar Everything changes y Back for good y nos encantó! Gary, cada día lo haces mejor!! :)
También hubo villancico y Jason bromeó con la "sorpresa que tanto se rumorea..y que aquí tenéis..."(todos pensando...¿robbie?..pero no! ) Howard tocando Jingle Bells a la trompeta!! :) Sin embargo cuando acabó Pray esperábamos Mancunian Way...y nos quedamos con las ganas! Asi que fué toda una suerte haber podido ir el día anterior y poder verla.
Mark puso la nota divertida en el concierto dando regalos a los chicos antes de cantar Hold on: A Jason le dió el "Gloria Estefan the Essentials" a lo que Jason respondió..."Gracias,no lo quería..pero vale!" jajajajajaa. A Howard le regaló un patito Donald de goma y a Gary una chaqueta tipo Cardigan de punto muy horterilla como la que lleva en Star stories..¡y Gary se la puso! jajajajajaa (de hecho Mark hizo una broma diciendo algo asi como: "no miréis a Gary en el teclado,mirad alrededor" como lo de Star stories "Gary you´d better stay behing the keyboard" jaajajaj buenísimo!) y Gary tocó Hold on muerto de risa.

El hotel!! Ya sabéis que teníamos todo listo para que el finde fuera redondo..y por supuesto teníamos reserva en el hotel para quedarnos cerquita de ellos el dia 22 y 23 pero la suerte nos sonrió y supimos a tiempo que nos se iban a quedar allí esa última noche asi que anulamos (despues de todo era tonteria reservar en el hotel pq no hemos tenido problemas para entrar y estar cerquita de ellos y cruzarnos con ellos) asi que gracias a que anulamos,pudimos ir al concierto del 22..jiur jiur! lucky takies! que la economia está muy mal después de tanto tour..

Según entramos en el hotel el viernes...AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! llega Mark y nos saludó tranquilamente y másssssss guapo! :) Con su gorro-ardilla y muy sonriente. (Jenny y yo casi nos meamos encima de la emoción!) Nos quedamos esa noche hasta bastante tarde en el bar del hotel tomando algo pero no les vimos aunque Elena estaba encantada de ver al padre de Jason por allí y nosotras encantadas de ver a los bailarines.. El sábado teníamos reserva en el hotel para comer y estuvimos allí casi toda la mañana hasta que les vimos salir para el concierto: Gary salió rapidísimo, Jason estaba poco hablador y Howard se paró a firmar y hacerse fotos (jenny tiene su foTTo con él) y conseguí que a Elena le firmara un autógrafo. A Mark le perdimos de vista pero luego posó en la furgoneta con la puerta abierta para que le hicieran fotos.

Y el domingo ya fué el gordo de la loteria! Estuvimos toda la mañana en el hotel, y ... bajando al bar me tropecé y crucé con Mark! ooooooooh! y le dije "sorry" y me sonrió! (que poquito pido para ser feliz!) Howard estuvo en el bar comiendo y nosotras nos hartamos a mandaros mensajes.. ¡no os quejaréis! :) Despues les vimos irse al concierto, asi que pudimos verles por última vez muy cerquita.

En fin..creo q no me dejo nada...ah! si! el encontrarnos al padre de Jason en el supermercado, ver a Dawn, a los conductores muy majos recogiendo regalos de todo el mundo para los chicos y haciendo fotos de las fans en la puerta, ver que los chicos han comprado medio Manchester en regalos navideños, alucinar con lo alta y guapa que es Sophie Ellis Bextor,comer muchas guarradas,generar diez toneladas de basura en tres días, ligar con los autóctonos de la zona, alucinar con lo borrachas que van las inglesas al final del concierto, flipar con el que me permito llamar " el take that boy más fan" que jamás he visto y veré, nterarnos de que hay esperanza de que Mark haya leído el blog, haber visto dos conciertazos, haber pisado tierra santa, haber visto que quién está en el punto de mira de mucha gente es una tia estupenda y muy divertida y a la que espero ver prontito, alucinar con muchas cosas y enterarnos de muchas otras,echarnos muchas risas, hemos tenido que aguantar muchas payasadas que han salido de la boca de alguna que va de guay porque "no quiere entrar en el hotel porque le parece un circo mirarles"..cuando ella se moría de ganas por hacerlo...qué pena que te quedaras fuera, eh???? Dentro se estaba muy calentito y Howard estaba muy guapo.

En fin chicas..un gran fin de semana y un gran cierre de tour!

Una crónica estupenda! Lo hemos pasado de fábula, la operación foTTo se queda pendiente para el próximo tour porque no cejaré en mi empeño, jajaja.Los conciertos maravillosos, me siento afortunada por haber estado allí. Jason me gusta más si cabe, aunque nuestro "encuentro" fuera tan fugaz ;-). Su padre, a pesar de las críticas recibidas, super simpático. Mark me ha conquistado y Howard se confirma como nº 2 en mi ranking. Y por supuesto la compañía genial, gracias chicas por estos 4 días. Tenemos que repetir!!!Ya iremos poniendo las sopresitas...

Jenny:

Excelente crónica!Tengo que decir que este fin de semana ha sido muy especial y estoy muy contenta de haber estado allí con vosotras.Hay objetivos que se quedan pendientes para la próxima (pq algo me dice q esto no acaba aquí) pq mi foTTo con Howard fue "arrimada" y Mark se me escapó. Pero siempre se quedará grabada la sonrisa de Mark al pararse y saludarnos en el vestíbulo del hotel el viernes, el encontronazo en el bar del sábado (oops! yo me disculpo por mi amiga, jaja), su carita mientras intentaba salir del hotel a duras penas el domingo entre besos y abrazos... este hombre nunca pierde la sonrisa, es alucinante.Howard super amable en la salida del hotel del día 22 firmando autógrafos y dejándose hacer fotos y el día 23 muy relajado y GUAPO comiendo en el reservado del bar.Jason el día 22 estuvo un poco "rancio" pq paso a la furgoneta como alma q lleva el diablo, pero el día 23 fue una pasada! Nada más salir por la puerta se paró para hacerse fotos con todas las chicas que estaban allí, aunque lo de que le agarrasen para darle besos parecía q no le hacía mucha gracia pero no paró de sonreir.Gary fue visto y no visto. Por lo visto unos días antes hubo un incidente que implicaba a Dawn y evitó bastante a las fans.Esas fueron mis impresiones sobre los chicos, por lo demás, Jessi lo ha contado todo muy bien así que no me voy a repetir :)Y chicas, el tour habrá teminado, pero nosotras no! Hay que reponernos, hacer quedadas y por supuesto ahorrar para la próxima gira, promo o lo que sea!Me vuelvo a llorar otro rato.... :)

¿Porqué salgo en todas las fotos con Howard? Porque me puse los tacones, entre otras cosas para superar la altura media de las inglesitas y salir en la operación foTTo... pero claro... ManchestAr será mucha Meca y mucha tierra santa... pero es imposible ir con tacones por esas calles!

Y como véis, en mi agobio por sacar el zapato y llegar al hotel para ver a los chicos...Elena y Jenny prefirieron cachondearse de mi y hacer fotos....
